Organic Seed Starting Workshop with Paul Split

During this fun and informative presentation, designed for the beginner and intermediate gardener, we’ll look at an assortment of seeds to grow in our zone. We will explore the organic process from germination to harvest and examine the latest propagation techniques. During the workshop participants will receive everything needed to start their own seeds.
The materials provided include:
- standard bottom water tray
- a 48 cell Seed tray
- Organic growing medium
- 7 1/2 ” vented propagation dome
- An assortment of vegetable, flower, and herb seeds
- Latex gloves
- Spray bottle
- Planting tool
Paul Split has been part of the Green Industry since 1971 and Director of Horticulture for Live Nation at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Ma. from 1987 to 2015. Then continuing as Horticultural Consultant for Live Nation of NE at the Xfinity Center until March 2020. He has been principal of Walden Gifts and Nursery. Paul is a Nationally recognized Designer and Presenter of green workshops and lectures for Garden Clubs and organizations since 1971. Now Celebrating 51 years of Horticultural presentations, Paul continues to write and produce from his home in Cape Cod Massachusetts.
Accessibility: The MAC Studio is located on a lower level in the building. There are several steps and a handrail on each side.
